New York, NY (November 24, 2015) – MSG Network will telecast “A Thanksgiving State of Mind: The Billy Joel Marathon” – a day of programming dedicated to the legendary musician. This includes seven unforgettable concert events along with MSG’s exclusive special “Billy Joel Home at The Garden,” the 30-minute documentary which provides fans a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse into preparations for Joel’s triumphant concerts at Madison Square Garden. The Thanksgiving Day marathon will highlight some of Joel’s most iconic concert events from 1978’s concert on BBC’s The Old Grey Whistle Test, through 2008’s Last Play at Shea, and landmark events such as Live from Yankee Stadium, Live from Long Island, River of Dreams and Live from Rome. “A Thanksgiving State of Mind: The Billy Joel Marathon” begins on Thursday, November 26 at 6:00 a.m., starting with “Home at The Garden.”

In December 2013, Billy Joel became Madison Square Garden’s first-ever music franchise, joining the ranks of The Garden’s other original franchises – the New York Knicks, Rangers and Liberty.
