New York, NY (October 21, 2016) – MSG Networks announced today that New York Giants’ defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison has joined MSGNetworks.com as a weekly contributor. Harrison will have a weekly video series titled “Friday Afternoon Snacks with Damon Harrison” where he sounds off on all things Giants and football.

 Harrison on the first call he received after signing with the Giants:
“The first call I got was from Eli Manning. He called me the day that I signed and I didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer the phone. He left me a three-minute voicemail welcoming me to the team.”

Harrison on having fun on the football field:
“I just the love the sport. I love being physical. Legally, you can go out there and beat up two or three big guys and get away with it. I’m just a big physical guy and the game of football fits me well.”

Harrison on the trip to London:
“I was in London last year with the Jets when we played the Miami Dolphins. We are staying at the exact hotel we did last year. I have some familiarity with the area. I know where some of the good food spots are. I’m looking forward to eating some bangers and mash.  I had a favorite quote while I was there. Don’t laugh at me, it was ‘would you fancy a spot of tea?’”

 Harrison was signed by the New York Jets in 2012 as an undrafted free agent after attending William Penn University. After four successful seasons with the Jets, Harrison signed a five-year contract with the Giants. Harrison comes to the Giants as one of the best defensive tackles in all of football.  Nicknamed “Snacks” because of his love for many different types of snacks, Harrison has quickly become a team leader for the Giants.

Harrison’s weekly video series comes as MSGNetworks.com launches a brand-new website.
