MSG NETWORKS BRINGS IN-DEPTH POST-GAME ISLANDERS COVERAGE TO FANS AS TEAM HEADS INTO SECOND ROUND
“MERCEDES-BENZ POSTGAME SHOW” AFTER EVERY SECOND ROUND GAME
New York, NY (April 26, 2016) – MSG Networks continues to bring hockey fans comprehensive Islanders coverage as the team moves on to the second round against the Tampa Bay Lightning. For all game days, MSG and MSG+ will telecast a live, one hour-long “Mercedes-Benz Postgame Show.” Post-game coverage begins tomorrow night, Wednesday, April 27, following the final horn at Amalie Arena.
MSG Networks’ coverage of the Islanders home playoff games will feature former Islander hero Butch Goring and Bill Pidto in the MSG studios, along with former Islander goalie Rick DiPietro, Shannon Hogan, and Stan Fischler from the Barclays Center. For all Islanders road playoff games, DiPietro, Goring and Pidto will provide analysis from MSG studios, while Hogan will be live from Tampa Bay providing player and coach interviews.
