Coverage to Include Full Day of Giants Programming on Thursday, April 25th Leading into
MSG Networks’ Live Giants Draft Show from the Quest Diagnostics Training Center at 7:30PM
New York, NY (April 23, 2019) – MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN), the television home of the New York Giants, today announced its coverage plans for the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft, which will include an increased lineup of original Giants programming leading into the network’s live draft show at 7:30pm on Thursday, April 25th.
Hosted by Bob Papa, “Giants Draft Night Live, will be broadcast live from the Quest Diagnostics Training Center and feature Giants legends Carl Banks and David Diehl providing in-depth analysis and breaking down each of the team’s first round selections, currently 6th and 17th overall. During the draft special, reporter Paul Dottino will be interviewing current Giants players and Giants alumni, inside MetLife Stadium, while Madelyn Burke provides reports live from the draft in Nashville. Giants Insider John Schmeelk will also be delivering news and real-time updates on draft picks throughout the show.
In the lead up to the draft, Giants fans and football enthusiasts can tune in during the day to watch episodes of “NY Giants Chronicles,” which will highlight some of the team’s recent first-round picks from over the years, as well as profile some of the most notable players in the history of the franchise, from Michael Strahan to Charlie Conerly and more.
Throughout the day, MSG Networks will also air several episodes of “Connections,” featuring conversations with iconic Giants players and entertainment personalities, such as David Diehl, Carl Banks, former Giants star Victor Cruz, two-time Super Bowl Champion Justin Tuck and actor and comedian Tracy Morgan.
MSG Networks’ draft coverage on Thursday will also be available on MSG GO, MSG Networks’ live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
